The Eliminator destroys weeds using infra-red radiation: This device does not create an open flame, nor does it radiate sideways or upwards. Running on clean-burning propane, this infra weeder is an effective alternative to chemical herbicides. The flat ceramic panel of the Eliminator is a great choice for killing weeds on flat surfaces such as interlocking brick driveways and sidewalks, as well as under bushes and in flower beds. This tool does not burn the targeted weed; rather it causes damage to the cells of the plant, as such, it may require multiple applications before the weed is completely eliminated.

A standard propane torch cylinder lasts approximately 4 hours.
